17 November 2008   Well done to the Bulford Netball Teams
Miss Burrows and Mrs. Shannon took the A and B Netball teams to the Local Festival at Avon Valley College (11/11/08). The B Team came 4th out of their Pool.The A Team won the trophy and will represent the area at the District Finals on the 3rd December in Salisbury.Both teams displayed excellent team work and were a credit to the school.  More...

18 October 2008   Well done to our Year 4 football team!
Mrs Diomede and Mrs Vallis took a Year 4 football team to play at the tournament at Larkhill on October 17th. The team played really well and enjoyed all their matches. They were awarded third place (out of 8 competing teams). A good effort - well done!  More...

10 October 2008   Giving thanks for the Harvest 2008
On October 7th was our Harvest Festival. We collected food for the Trussell Trust foodbank. The tins and packets given will be go to people in the Wiltshire area who are in need.  More...

01 October 2008   Sponsored Bounce
On Tuesday 1st October lots of children enjoyed bouncing for two minutes on the bouncy castle. As well as having fun we hope that lots of money has been raised for our school. 12 July 2008   Jordan comes 5th out of 90 boys
The Wiltshire QuadKids competitions culminated in the Wiltshire Youth Games 2008. 19 teams from across Wiltshire came to the Tidworth Oval to battle it out for the title.Bulford came 15th place overall and some individuals performed very well. Jordan, Andrew M and Tyler came 5th, 10th and 25th repectively.  More...

11 July 2008   Foundation Stage and KS1 Sports Day
On Wednesday 2nd July, the younger children took part in their sports day, just before the rain arrived! All the children took part in running races and chose from others such as the spacehopper or egg and spoon. Teams of children from Blackbirds worked hard to set up the equipment. 09 July 2008   Thank you from RSPB
A certificate to thank us for the sale of lapel badges in aid if RSPB has just arrived.We raised another £69 this year to add to the previous years' total of over £230. The pins are still available to purchase in the shape of the birds after whom each class is named. You can see the certificates here.  More...

01 July 2008   Athletics Team win the local tournament
The athetics team won the Avon Valley College Y5/4 tournament displaying good sportsmanship. All of the children won certificates, many of which were for first place. 26 June 2008   Sun awareness at Bulford
All children were given talks on staying safe in the sun. Through stories and questions the children were reminded about using sun cream, keeping shoulders covered, drinking lots of water and finding shade at the hottest time of the day.  More...

18 June 2008   The whole school enjoy storytelling sessions
All classes enjoyed sessions of songs and stories from Lulu Stevens. We chose stories from pictures on her 'Storyteller's Apron', saw stories come to life from out of the story chest and joined in with songs and drumming. See Sparrows page for more pictures.  More...

22 May 2008   'Drum Crazy' comes to Bulford
Classes from Robins to Swans enjoyed hands-on drum and percussion workshops with 'Drum Crazy'. We had a lot of fun and made a lot of noise! The day ended with a performance for the whole school by groups from Key Stage 2. See Sparrows and Music pages for photos.  More...

Sparrows and Robins classes visited Langford Lakes to learn about SWAF (Shelter, Water, Air and Food). We built shelters for our bears, went pond dipping and used our senses to explore the environment. See Sparrows page for photos.  More...

15 May 2008   Blackbirds become the county's newest police deputies
